My responsibilities included all phases of the brand identity design, from initial planning to the ideation, designing and final outcome as well as marketing materials.
Overview
The brief recommends developing a brand identity that represents Sri Lanka and its culture for a travel destination website that provides tour guides in Sri Lanka.
Challenge
How can we encourage international tourists to choose the Tripazing platform to plan their vacation in Sri Lanka over other competitor platforms such as TripAdvisor, Booking.com or Airbnb?
Solution
International travelers use websites like TripAdvisor, Booking.com, Expedia, and travel blogs to plan trips, considering budget, preferences, and destination complexity, with recommendations from friends and relatives. Therefore, there's a growing trend and a need towards customised travel experiences tailored to individual interests.
Tripazing is a brand that helps travellers plan their trips to Sri Lanka, through their website platform, providing most of the necessary travel perspectives, guides, tour packages from leading tour operators. It also offers information on popular sights in Sri Lanka, as well as suggestions and tools for creating trip plans and sharing your experience with the travel community.
The brand's purpose is to combine all of users' travel requirements together in one platform, allowing the user to effortlessly organise their vacation to Sri Lanka without having to search for various sources.
